Direct and made sure my questions were answered. That was good. Bedside manner was that of an unfriendly rock which is not what one hopes in urgent care. “Care” implies some warmth or kindness and as scared as I was about falling on my head, at my age, and with my medical history. Well, a little could go a long way. BUT he was a good MD and made clear sense and I left assured that I was ok.

For a emergency telahealth appointment the doctor was available within 20 minutes, very prompt. I was happy, he answered my questions. I was reaching out for consultation for a spider bite, and did not want a emergency room if it wasn't needed. After speaking with Doctor I felt better. After a that appointment the next day the area where I was bit started to get better.

He was competent. Gave me the standard tests. I opted out of antibiotics due to my propensity to c-diff. He prescribed Tylenol which I already take. I still have questions about RSV test. As of Thursday am my Covid test results weren't posted. Still have horrid cough.

Overall, great. He mentioned if my knee swelling was complimented by redness which i told him i don’t know if i would see that. Then he proceeded to say if it got red to call my doctor. As a Black man i didn’t think that was an appropriate symptom to try to monitor the progression of my knee injury. I just wanted to note it as an opportunity for improvement.
