About

Dr. Yaqoot Khan graduated with a DO degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001. After completing her internal medicine residency and a rheumatology fellowship at NYU Langone Hospital–Long Island, she pursued a postdoctoral research fellowship at the same institution. She subsequently spent 15 years in clinical patient care and teaching, both in private practice and at Northwell Health in Huntington, Long Island.

Dr. Khan treats a wide spectrum of conditions, including lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, vasculitis, gout, osteoarthritis, myositis, osteoporosis, connective tissue diseases, and other autoimmune conditions.

In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and travelling.

I like Dr Khan. We discussed the progress of the new medicine that I’m taking and should we increase the dosage to garner better results; then we talked about the need for occupational therapy and possible benefits it could have on my hand.

Dr Khan is an excellent doctor. She is caring and extremely knowledgeable and I am thrilled she takes incredibly excellent care of care of me. She came out from her clinic to the waiting room and personally made me aware to take my blood pressure in the morning for a week and report back to her.
