Willie N. Larson, CNM

Willie Larson, CNM, received her Master’s degree in Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in 2024. She also holds a Master of Science in Nursing from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from USC. Before becoming an RN and midwife, Willie worked as a doula supporting families throughout Los Angeles and volunteered with pregnant young women in the foster care system. These experiences gave her firsthand insight into the disparities within the maternal health system and deepened her commitment to making perinatal education and support more accessible and inclusive.

Willie began her career in childbirth education at LOOM, a hub for pregnancy and parenting, before working as a high-risk labor and delivery nurse at California Hospital in Downtown Los Angeles. She went on to provide full-scope midwifery care at Valley Presbyterian Hospital, and at Almond OBGYN, a concierge clinic, before joining UCLA. Willie also cofounded a consulting service whose goal was to provide childbirth education and help newly pregnant individuals in LA find their ideal birth team.

At the heart of Willie’s practice is a deep belief in the strength, wisdom, and autonomy of every person who gives birth. She is passionate about empowering people with the knowledge, support, and confidence they need to make informed decisions and feel like active participants in their care. Willie finds the greatest joy in helping people feel proud of themselves and what their bodies can do.

Outside of midwifery, Willie loves spending time with her husband and daughter and finding fun ways to stay active and connected to her body. She loves to dance, travel, craft, and share a great meal with the people she loves.
