William Sheppard MD MPH is an Orthopaedic Spine Specialist with dual appointments at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and UCLA, specializing in advanced spine care and cutting-edge research. Trained at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute, Dr. Sheppard brings world-class expertise in the latest spine surgery technologies, including ultrasonic equipment, robotics, and image-guided techniques. Dr Sheppard is skilled in 360-spine care, from minimally invasive to deformity-based techniques. His research focuses on 4 key areas: (1) cervical spine clinical outcomes, (2) basic science murine models of spinal infection prevention and management, (3) innovations in endoscopic spine surgery, and (4) spinal trauma and cord injury management.
