Vincent L. Rowe, MD

Dr. Rowe is a Professor of Surgery and Division Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at UCLA.

He is certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery, and in the Vascular Surgery specialty, and serves on its Vascular Surgery Board as Chairman for the Vascular Surgery In-Training Examination (VSITE) Committee.

Dr. Rowe has received numerous teaching awards and has contributed to the surgical literature with over 160 peer reviewed manuscripts, abstracts, and textbook chapters.  He is currently the Associate Editor for the main vascular textbook, Rutherford’s Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.  His major research interests include lower extremity peripheral arterial disease (PAD), vascular access for hemodialysis, and traumatic vascular injuries. 

Dr. Rowe is active in many surgical societies including a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Surgical Association, and a Distinguished Fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgery where he serves as the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Chairperson. He is the past President of the American College of Surgeons Southern California Chapter, the Southern California Vascular Surgery Society and immediate past President of the Western Vascular Society.
