Dr. Richardson came in the room and one if tge first things he did was to let me know that the appt notes would have something to do with AI. I forgot exactly what he said, but something to that effect. He was very nice & through. He checked it sores & took pictures & told me what it was & that my Dermatologist should look at them & what I should do to prevent anymore bleeding on my back, such as putting a bandage on it to protect it.

Dr. Washington has such an incredible balance and mixture of being super knowledgeable, but also so relatable, warm and cool! My wife and 2 kids have been lucky enough to get Dr. Washington at your Santa Monica urgent care location and everyone loves him and remembers him, even if it has only been a visit or two. We've been using the UCLA SM Urgent Care location for many years and it is always great service, nice and clean facilities, great staff and good doctors. Dr. Washington just so happens to be another level of awesomeness. He da bomb!

He listened with patience to my 5 yrs old explaning her symptoms. He addressed it and on top of it he emailed 2 days later (after the last test results became available) and checked on her. I never expected that from an urgent care Dr. Meant alot. His attitude really helped the appointment goes smoothly as my daughter is only used to have her own primary see her all the time and she was confused why we are in urgent care and another office . Listened. Didn’t rush me. Was patient when I called my husband to see if we had crutches at home. Listened well as when my X-rays came back negative, and I expressed the pain so bad I cried when I had to get up from the toilet seat, he spoke about ordering an mri. Just 100% present in the moment!

I think that is what doctors sometimes lack. They dismiss you in the day of google self diagnosis. I get it. But they are still suppose to hear our concerns we know our bodies.

From the moment i walked into Urgent care, i was greeted with immediate attention. Within minutes Dr. Washington came in the room. He listened to my concerns and addressed them. Visited Urgent care on Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica. Great experience from the check in process, vitals and the visit with Dr. Washington. Everyone was polite and pleasant. Very patient with my 87 year old mother who suffers from dementia.
