About
Dr. Travis Welsh practices rheumatology at the UCLA Ventura Primary and Specialty Care Clinic. He is a general rheumatologist and enjoys treating the whole spectrum of rheumatic diseases. He particularly enjoys working with patients to make a personalized plan that works best for them.
Dr. Welsh earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX and subsequently spent another year at UT Southwestern working as a hospitalist. He then headed to the West Coast and completed rheumatology fellowship at UCLA.
Dr. Welsh is originally from North Carolina but grew up across 4 states in the Southeast and Midwest and earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia. He has a lifelong love of music and spends much of his free time doing something music-related, including music production, playing guitar, and going to live music events.
