Todd W. Liou, MD

Dr. Todd W. Liou is a staff psychiatrist at UCLA Behavioral Health Associates. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco, and his Master of Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He completed his adult psychiatry residency at Cambridge Health Alliance, a Harvard Medical School training hospital. Dr. Liou is board-eligible in psychiatry and a member of the American Psychiatric Association.

His clinical interests include college mental health, general adult psychiatry, and bringing a psychodynamic lens to his work. He is especially interested in the care of transitional age adults, sexual and gender minorities, and folks navigating bicultural or immigrant identities.

Outside of work, Dr. Liou begrudgingly lifts weights and enthusiastically enjoys video games, reading, live music, exploring diverse cuisines, and spending time with his cat.
