Thomas T. Nguyen, MD, MBA

Dr. Thomas Nguyen is a dedicated physician who joins UCLA Primary Care to continue providing exceptional care for the communities in San Luis Obispo. Dr. Nguyen's main specialties are internal medicine and obesity. He is Board Certified with both Board of Internal Medicine and Board of Obesity Medicine along with Fellowship of the American College of Physicians. He is also a Clinical Instructor for UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine.

Dr. Nguyen attended the Ross University School of Medicine, and completed residency at the Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati, Ohio. He received a Master of Business Administration in healthcare at the University of Texas, Dallas. Attended undergrad at UCLA, he completes the full circle to provide mentorship to UCLA students and residents at the school of medicine.

Growing up in Long Beach California, Dr. Nguyen enjoys the many attractiveness and activities the Southern California cities have to offer, especially San Luis Obispo where he calls home over the past decade. He is thrilled to welcome new patients and share medical knowledge to promote good health.
