Dr. Thien Nguyen is a sleep medicine physician at UCLA Torrance in the South Bay area. Triple board-certified in sleep medicine, obesity medicine, and family medicine, he treats a wide range of sleep disorders. Dr. Nguyen specializes in integrating obesity medicine into the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and provides comprehensive, personalized care tailored to each patient’s health status and chronic conditions.
Dr. Nguyen earned his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. He completed a full-spectrum family medicine residency at the Waco Family Medicine Institute in Waco, Texas, followed by fellowship training in sleep medicine at UCLA.
