Dr. Tasha Lin is amazing and compassionate. She takes her time with me and always answers all my questions. I notice she really observes my interactions with her and if she notices I didn’t understand something she rewords it so I fully understand. All the medical staff are great and always explain why is being done

Dr. Lin was excellent and explained the lab results, the imporof follow up labs n PET She also took the time to regarding my previous concerns regarding my hip thigh area.

I have concerns about a problem with peripheral nerve flare ups, and am not sure if my blood cancer and/or the medication used to treat the cancer have an effect on the condition. The doctor followed up in a timely way and directed her office to arrange lab tests. The lab tests do not indicate a connection to the peripheral nerve flare ups at this time. During the next appointment, my doctor may recommend seeing a neurologist.

Spent a lot of time talking with my wife and I regarding a clinical trial. She was patient and caring.

We had a pleasant discussion about the progress with current medication. There is improvement with managing the blood cancer, although it’s understood that it is still a higher number than considered acceptable. This has continued to be a problem; complicated by my intolerance of recommended drugs that I have taken. Recently, I chose to go back on a medicatiin that gave me trouble in the past; rather than take a drug that seems much more damaging in side effects. Since I am now taking a lower dose of the Hydroxyurea than the standard treatment, my doctor suggested that the dose is increased. I prefer to proceed less quickly (to hold off on an increased dose) because I want to make sure that I can build tolerance. The last couple times taking the capsule resulted in less pronounced setbacks, & the platelet number is gradually diminishing. If the next days indicate that improvement in daily function, with less side effects, is steady, then I will increase the dose as the doctor recommends—the doctor knows that I’ve struggled for a long time with side effects on medication, & is giving me the courtesy to pace myself as I try to adjust to the Hydroxyurea. I appreciate the sensitivity & care of my doctor.

Dr. Lin was empathetic, caring and listened to my concerns. She presented options clearly and was very knowledgeable of my medical history. I am confident she will prepare an individually tailored medical plan based on the best medical options to help me maintain the best quality of life. Relapse is scary but the extended time my wife and I spent with her helped ease my fears.

Dr Tasha Lin is the nicest most caring doctor I’ve ever had in my entire life - hands down/period!! As mentioned in a prior survey, I highly recommend Dr Lin for Super Doctor!! Is this higher than Top Doctor? Please, she deserves the highest honor!! Dr Lin is so knowledgeable, passionate about her work, and compassionate towards her patients. Dr Lin really goes out of her way and i would like to share one example: I had to have her paged after hours a few times and she calls back immediately, even on weekend nights! I heard her toddler asking for Dr Lin in the background and Dr Lin continued to talk to me. I told Dr Lin that I would be fine with her calling me back and she did right away! I appreciate her so much. There are so many other examples. Dr Lin even offered to personally give me a ride when I mentioned that it may be difficult to arrange for my caregivers to be available to accommodate a last minute schedule change request from the hospital! Fortunately Dr Lin was able to keep the schedule as originally scheduled. She is so amazing!! I can’t say enough about Dr Lin. She is the perfect Doctor!! It’s such a privilege to be under her care! Thank you!!
