Dr. Hutchinson is board certified in internal medicine and received her medical degree from the Medical College of Wuhan University of Science and Technology in China. She completed an internal residency program at the Drexel University College of Medicine/Saint Peter’s University Hospital. Prior to joining Harvard Vanguard, Hutchinson was a lead physician for COMPASS, a pioneer program funded by CMS to manage cardiovascular disease and diabetes in patients suffering from depression at Mount Auburn and Cambridge Independent Physician Association.
Dr. Hutchinson enjoys traveling, dancing with her daughters, and teaching them to live healthy and fulfilled.

It was a quick video call with Dr Su Hutchinson, I was hoping to have some more questions answered but felt rushed. The dr quickly prescribed me with meds but was hoping for a bit more explanation and plan for the future not just a it should get better in a few days. She was pleasant to speak with as a dr but I did feel listened to on this call.

She took the time to hear my concerns and also understood me in an empathetic way. I have been going through a rough experience from my now former OB/GYN office. I really needed someone to look out for me, and every time I come in, I felt taken care of by her care. I’m lucky that she’s my PCP. She validated my concerns and took me seriously. Immediately out of the office I received great advice and she took her time to explain me what the next steps are. She’s detailed thorough and really care cares about her patients. It shows in work and mimic’d through her staff. I live quite far away from her traffic wise, but going to her office is always worth the visit.
