Dr. Sona Hurtz is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician specializing in primary care for adults. She earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from UCLA and her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Hurtz completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Cooper University Hospital, affiliated with Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.

She has a strong personal interest in preventive care, health education, and helping to improve her patients' acute and chronic health conditions. Dr. Hurtz places a high value on forming collaborative partnerships with her patients to achieve their health goals.

Dr. Hurtz is terrific. She’s very thorough, asks pertinent questions, provides clear explanations of next steps, gives thoughtful suggestions of possible remedies. I trust her implicitly, there’s none better.

Dr. Sona Hurtz is just the best! I appreciate her kindness, genuineness, knowledge, thoroughness, and sensitivity. She follows up on matters, asking if I still have certain symptoms, etc. She orders tests, not just for the heck of it. Additionally, if I ask questions relative to an area outside her expertise, she refers me to the type specialist who would have the answers.
