About
Dr. Sona Hurtz is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician specializing in primary care for adults. She earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from UCLA and her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Hurtz completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Cooper University Hospital, affiliated with Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.
She has a strong personal interest in preventive care, health education, and helping to improve her patients' acute and chronic health conditions. Dr. Hurtz places a high value on forming collaborative partnerships with her patients to achieve their health goals.
Outside of practicing medicine, she enjoys hiking with her husband, daughter, and two dogs, hosting family gatherings, and traveling.
