Dr. Sona Hurtz is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician specializing in primary care for adults. She earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from UCLA and her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Hurtz completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Cooper University Hospital, affiliated with Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.

She has a strong personal interest in preventive care, health education, and helping to improve her patients' acute and chronic health conditions. Dr. Hurtz places a high value on forming collaborative partnerships with her patients to achieve their health goals.

Outside of practicing medicine, she enjoys hiking with her husband, daughter, and two dogs, hosting family gatherings, and traveling.

I didn’t feel rushed, she was very informative. Listened to all my questions/ concerns. I felt like she really cares about my well-being, which is refreshing. Overall my experience was delightful even though I was experiencing pain.

My visit, your office was a very wonderful experience Doctor was very thorough and very friendly seem to be very knowledgeable. I like her very much and the staff in the front office was very pleasant as well. I left their feeling that finally we’re gonna get somewhere with all my health problems.
