Silvio A. Del Castillo, DO

Dr. Alan Del Castillo is a board-certified Family Medicine specialist serving the Burbank community since 2008. Dr. Del Castillo fluency in both English and Spanish allows him to provide quality service through comprehensive and compassionate primary care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics.  Dr. Del Castillo cherishes his role as a dependable physician and friend to the Burbank community. He has been recognized each year as a Super Doctor by the LA Times for his dedication to the Burbank community. His respect for his patients is a testament to their continual return, with “Dr. Del” even caring for third generations of some original patients’ families.

He earned his medical degree Western University of Health Sciences in 2000. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at University of California (Davis) / San Joaquin General Hospital in 2003 where he served as Chief resident and received the resident teacher of the year award by Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. In 2017 he was proud to represent the American Osteopathic Association during a congressional hearing at the National Coalition on Health Care Forum in Washington D.C.

In his free time Dr. Del Castillo, he enjoys working in his garden with his flock of chickens and practicing his skills as a novice welder. He is always working to check off new places and foods from his ever-growing bucket list of new experiences.
