Dr. Zarini seemed nice and I appreciate that she was able to order some of the labs I asked for, but I left there feeling really awkward because of the fact that I shared a lot with her that I feel might have made her feel awkward or uncomfortable… ?? Not sure, but I know I now feel uncomfortable. I know I need a doctor who takes more time to know more about me other than just the tests they can order, referrals, and the medications they can prescribe. I feel best when I can give at least some of my current life story because it’s important to my overall health picture. I feel super uncomfortable when I share and it doesn’t seem to be well-received. There were definitely things I appreciated about the visit, but the awkwardness will probably keep me from coming back.

Dr. Zarini was attentive, concerned & got me started on a journey to discover if my complaint can be fixed. She also, got me blood tests to be sure I'm not missing any vitamins or nutrients. I felt good & cared for.

Review of entire medical history and prescriptions. Began investigation of swelling in legs with bloodwork, looking at levels of iron, kidney function, potassium levels. Referrals for radiology of spine, hip, lower extremity veins, pelvis.

Dr. Zani is absolutely the best I can communicate whether she answers my messages. She’s the only reason why the MyChart should exist. I can do video visits whether they talk to her on my chart get all the things fixed that I need and then she’ll also keep me in line as as far as what medication’ refills I have coming up what referrals are still outstanding she’s more than a doctor. She’s like having a wife. I probably wouldn’t be in good health if it wasn’t for her.

The check in process was efficient , friendly and seamless. The nurse had a comfortable presence and explained things well. Dr Zarini was exceptional. She took her time addressing my concerns in a thoughtful manner- even looking up additional research as we went. She provided appropriate referrals and thoroughly reviewed our plan going forward. She also has a very approachable and non judgmental demeanor. A+ for UCLA. I’m happy I’ve landed here!

I needed a quick visit to get an order for an MRI so when I see sports medicine, the MRI is already there. (Per sports medicines’ recommendation). Dr. Z’s team was able to get me scheduled for a video appt the same day and Dr. Z ordered the MRI. She and her office are always really great — they respond quickly and either immediately address what I need or promptly get me in to see the doctor.
