Scott E. Eggener, MD

Scott Eggener, MD is Professor and Chair of the Department of Urology.

Dr. Eggener is a urologic oncologist and highly experienced robotic and open surgeon who specializes in the care of patients with prostate, testicular, and kidney cancers.  He prides himself on attention to detail, thorough explanations of management options, interdisciplinary collaboration, and access to innovative clinical trials.

Dr. Eggener's research on urologic cancers, primarily on prostate and testicular cancer, has resulted in over 350 peer-reviewed publications. He has led or participated in multiple national cancer guideline panels, had editorial roles at multiple medical journals, and is a long-time executive board member and volunteer for International Volunteers in Urology.
