Dr. Takimoto is an exceptionally skilled and patient physician. She has been my pcp for several years now, and her guidance, compassion and responses have guided my health into better years than the last few. When medical issues she felt were beyond her scope of expertise, she referred me to other UCLA medical professionals while maintaining contact with them as I had appointments with them. She is truly a fantastic physician and I am grateful for her support and continued care.

Follow up check up. I sent a photo earlier today to discuss with my doctor. My doctor had already reviewed and addressed my concerns. I was pleasantly surprised and appreciative that she reviewed my photo that was sent only 3 hrs before our appt.

Dr Takimoto is extraordinary because she considers the whole patient when planning treatment: my lifestyle, my daily situation in terms of stressors and demands. She discusses my visits with other physicians since she last saw me in order to gain a more comprehensive picture of my overall health. This affects some of the decisions she makes in terms of prescriptions and course of action for other tests.
