About
Dr. Shah graduated with a degree in biology from The College of New Jersey, which he attended as part of the prestigious seven-year BS/MD program. He continued on to Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he earned his medical degree and developed an early interest in gastroenterology. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Temple University Hospital, both in Philadelphia. He served as chief gastroenterology fellow during his final year of fellowship.
Dr. Shah has broad clinical interests in gastroenterology, including colorectal cancer screening, gastroesophageal reflux disease, Barrett’s esophagus, peptic ulcer disease, motility disorders, disorders of the gut-brain interaction, gastrointestinal bleeding, diverticulosis, endoscopy, colonoscopy and more. He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
