Pia H. Francisco-Natanauan, MD

Pia H. Francisco-Natanauan, MD, is an adolescent and young adult medicine specialist at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Her clinical interests include eating disorders, adolescent sexual and reproductive health,  gender care medicine, and comprehensive adolescent healthcare. Her practice is LGBTQI+ friendly, with an emphasis on providing respectful, developmentally appropriate care to adolescents and young adults. 

Before joining UCLA, Dr. Francisco-Natanauan practiced adolescent medicine in Hawaiʻi and served on the faculty of the University of Hawaiʻi John A. Burns School of Medicine, where she was extensively involved in clinical education, community health initiatives, and research. Her scholarly work has included eating disorders, adolescent sexual health, comprehensive sexuality education, and gender-related healthcare, and she has presented nationally and internationally.

She brings together clinical care, education, research, and community engagement with a commitment to helping adolescents and young adults receive thoughtful, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate healthcare.
