This is not my first time visiting Dr. Levins. I've liked him before and came back. Dr. Levins is very easy to talk to. He's respectful, thoughtful and thorough. He listens and answers my questions. We made a plan for my treatment and he made himself available for follow-up questions and progress reports. And, I didn't have to wait very long today to see him. What more could I ask for?

Dr. Levins examined a suspicious "barnacle" on my forehead and declared it 100% noncancerous, but used liquid nitrogen to remove debris associated with the " barnacle". I had the best experience in any doctor s office at Dr. Paul Levins ever! The office staff greeted me by introducing themselves before asking me my name. I was brought into the exam room prior to my appointment time by a few minutes. I have spent 1.5 years going to doctors to try to diagnose my problem and in 3 minutes Dr. Levins knew exactly what was wrong with me.

I’m reading the novel “The Covenant of Water.” There’s a wonderful character who’s a surgeon in the book, who says that every encounter with a patient “must begin with love…. To love the sick — isn’t that always the first step?” For me, Dr. Levins is that kind of physician. Yes, he’s an excellent practicioner. But he’s also an excellent human. He actually looks into your eyes when he talks to you. And his demeanor and voice are always warm and gentle. I think the world of him. I’m deeply grateful to have him as my husband’s and my dermatologist.
