This was my yearly exam with my primary caregiver, Patrick Yao. As always, he was thoughtful, helpful, and highly knowledgeable. He took time to listen to me, as always. In my opinion, Dr. Yao is the best doctor on every level that I've seen during my years as a UCLA patient.

This was a post-Hospital discharge follow up appointment that the Hospital Attending's office arranged . I appreciate very much that Dr. Yao made this appointment possible and so soon after my hospital discharge, given his demanding schedule. Dr. Yao answered the questions I had and offered explanations. I always trust Dr. Yao's judgement, and it's extremely comforting to know that Dr. Yao has been fully aware of my ER/Hospital stay case. Dr. Yao's caring, concern, and help patient at a time like this is way beyond the call of his PCP duties. I am grateful that Dr. Yao is my Physician.

It was very continuous I walked in the Dr. office and went straight to the scales LOL. Then met with my Doctor who is always attentive and helpful. We discussed my concerns. I scheduled my next appointment. My medication was called in to the pharmacy. It took only 15mins to get it. I’m a 3 time cancer survivor and I have been coming to this UCLA since 1990. One word to describe everything TRUST. Thank you.
