Dr. Yaffee graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then attended Georgetown University’s School of Medicine prior to completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. After completing residency, he worked as a Hospitalist at Cedars-Sinai. In addition to preventative care, Dr. Yaffee is also interested in cancer and advanced care planning. In his free time, he enjoys staying active. He continues to practice not only gymnastics but also hand-balancing and flying trapeze. He also enjoys cooking, baking, and relaxing with his family.

Dr. Yaffee is a breath of fresh air! He is humble, kind, calm, compassionate, sweet natured, doesn’t talk down to his patients, speaks in layman’s terms so the patient fully understands and agrees with treatment options, and he collaborates with the patient and family caregiver on continued plan of care. Dr. Yaffee also looks at the senior patient and speaks directly to them. He doesn’t treat the elderly patient as inconsequential or geriatric. He is extremely thorough in his exam, especially after the patient suffered a fall at home. He offered additional home care options for a slanted pillow to assist with sitting upright, if needed. He also offered suggestions based on his hospital experience, which we appreciated. He is quite humorous and has a great, self deprecating sense of humor. He is an awesome doctor. We understand why he is so in demand and wildly popular.
