After decades in family practice Dr. McDermott has transitioned to the immediate care setting where she provides thoughtful and convenient care to adults and children with acute medical concerns. Originally from Boston, she appreciates the climate and beauty of Southern CA where she has raised twin sons with her pharmacist husband. She enjoys theater, hiking, reading and the company of good friends as often as possible.

Patricia McDermott is great.
This Dr was impatient .....not professional and gave me a negative gesture when I couldn't remember what the active ingredient in from my Whole Foods anti itch cream. I have never actually had a negative never mind horrible experience at UCLA. Not patient centered and unkind.
She’s an excellent doctor and has a wonderful bedside manner. I really enjoyed meeting her.
