About
Dr. Nithya Nambiar is a primary care physician who currently practices at UCLA Health Triunfo Canyon and Hampshire locations in the Conejo Valley. As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Nambiar strongly believes in working alongside her patients to achieve an optimal outcome. She knows that by working together with her patients, she is able to tailor their care which is not only guideline directed, but also respectful of each patient’s personal boundaries. She also believes that healing begins with listening closely to her patients and fostering a comfortable environment for them to express their health concerns.
Dr. Nambiar completed her undergraduate degree in Cell and Developmental Biology from University of California, Santa Barbara. She then received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.
Dr. Nambiar grew up locally in Calabasas, California and graduated from Agoura High School. She is especially thrilled to be back home and to serve the community in which she grew up. Outside of work, Dr. Nambiar enjoys spending time with her husband (also an internist) and daughter. She attributes her success in medicine to all the support that her family has given her over the years.
