About
Dr. Nimit Sudan is a hematologist oncologist who practices in Encino and Santa Clarita. He is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology, and is an assistant clinical professor in the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Sudan provides comprehensive care for adult patients with all types of hematologic and oncologic conditions. His mission is to treat every patient with the utmost compassion and care, and to develop a strong doctor-patient relationship. He is passionate about patient and family education, and educating larger communities on cancer awareness and prevention. He also has a special interest in integrative medicine, and is certified in acupuncture.
Dr. Sudan is from the Midwest, and received both his medical degree and bachelor's degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his internal medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and his hematology/oncology fellowship at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Dr Sudan is literally a gift to us from God and we are so thankful he is our oncologist. His patience with Deaf Patients like myself, require extra time due to the need for Certified ASL Interpretation. He ALWAYS addresses ME and not the interpreter which is extremely appreciative both culturally and linguistically. He allows himself to be easily available and answers any email concerns I have in my chart as well! The nursing staff on oncology are professional as well as considerate, funny, and kind! There is NO PLACE ELSE WE WUD RATHER BE FOR MY CANCER CARE!
