Nathan L. McLaughlin, MD

Dr. Nathan McLaughlin is a General Internist at UCLA Health and a Clinical Instructor of Internal Medicine. He provides evidence-based, comprehensive primary care for adults, with clinical interests in preventative care and healthy living strategies to support long-term health. He is also passionate about HIV prevention and treatment, sexual health, gender affirming care, and LGBTQ+ health.

Dr. McLaughlin values a collaborative approach to medicine, partnering with his patients to navigate both their medical needs while supporting them through life's challenges. He strives to foster an environment that helps each person feel encouraged and empowered to reach their health goals.

Originally from Puyallup, WA, Dr. McLaughlin earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, and completed internal medicine residency at UCLA. He received his undergraduate degree from Seattle University.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys volleyball, strength training, musical theater, karaoke, caring for his houseplants, and exploring Los Angeles nightlife.
