About
Dr. Natasha Mitra completed her undergraduate education at Tufts University. Then, she earned both her Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She went on to complete her residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Since then, Dr. Mitra has worked in primary care for over 3.5 years and has an additional 2 years of experience as a hospitalist.
Dr. Mitra is passionate about building lasting, longitudinal relationships with her patients—supporting them from their formative years to their final stages. She believes deeply in the power of preventive health and the importance of making sustainable everyday choices that support long-term wellbeing. She has a special interest in women’s health and takes pride in providing care that is attentive and empowering. She is also a fluent Spanish speaker and welcomes the ability to connect with Spanish-speaking or bilingual patients in a meaningful and culturally sensitive way.
Outside of work, Dr. Mitra values staying deeply connected with friends and family, both near and far. She enjoys staying active through gym workouts, hiking, dance, yoga, and acro-yoga. She loves cooking and seeking out unique culinary experiences.
