About
Nataly Petrovic is a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life's most challenging transitions.
Currently serving as the Clinical Director of the Maternal Outpatient Mental Health Services (MOMS) Clinic within UCLA's OB/GYN department, Nataly was recruited to lead this innovative initiative utilizing a collaborative care model. She oversees clinical care, supervises graduate and post-graduate level interns, facilitates multidisciplinary collaboration, and strengthens community partnerships to ensure comprehensive, trauma-informed support for patients.
Her extensive background in diagnostics and crisis intervention makes her particularly skilled in conducting nuanced assessments and identifying complex clinical needs.
Previously, Nataly was instrumental in the development and leadership of UCLA’s Perinatal IOP/PHP and held leadership roles at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, where she directed programs for underserved families and established an early childhood initiative with First 5 LA funding rooted in evidence-based practices.
Nataly’s career spans hospital-based medical and psychiatric social work, child advocacy through UCLA/Stuart House, and even several years in education as a Humanities teacher. Across all roles, she brings warmth, creativity, and clinical rigor to her work.
Beyond her clinical work, Nataly nurtures an ever-growing collection of plants that flourish under her care. She is also a multimedia artist who enjoys working with mosaic, sculpture, and her latest passion, crochet. A fluent Serbo-Croatian speaker, she holds a Master’s in Social Work from Simmons College and a Bachelor’s in Education from Boston University.
