About

Dr. Mopelola Adeyemo is an Assistant Professor within the Division of Clinical Nutrition at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Adeyemo obtained a Maters of Public Health with specialization in biostatistics and epidemiology at the University of Southern California. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of California, Riverside. Then completed her fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of California Davis which was followed by a fellowship in Clinical Nutrition at University of California Los Angeles.

Dr. Adeyemo’s research focuses on the prevention and treatment of obesity and related comorbidities including nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, as well as addressing health disparities. Her primary areas of practice include treatment and prevention of diabetes, high cholesterol, and obesity including related comorbidities.
