Mindy Ross, MD, MAS, MBA

Dr. Mindy Ross is a Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and a pediatric pulmonologist at UCLA Health. She provides outpatient pediatric pulmonary care in Santa Monica and inpatient consultation at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital and UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. She is board certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Pulmonology, and Clinical Informatics.

Dr. Ross received her medical degree from UC San Diego and completed her pediatric residency and pediatric pulmonary fellowship at UC San Diego/Rady Children’s Hospital. She received her undergraduate degrees from UCLA and holds graduate degrees in clinical research and business administration.

Her academic work focuses on clinical informatics, digital health, quality improvement, and the use of health information technology to improve care for children and adolescents with chronic disease. Her research has included NIH-funded work using the electronic health record and patient-facing digital tools to improve personalized asthma care, self-management, and health care transition for adolescents and young adults.

Dr. Ross’s clinical interests include asthma, aerodigestive disorders, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, chronic cough, and obesity-related respiratory disease.

She is a member of the American Thoracic Society, American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA), and Pediatric Academic Societies. She also serves on the Steering Committee for AMIA’s FYI – For Your Informatics podcast.
