Dr. Michelle Kelley is a primary care physician who practices in Thousand Oaks. She is board certified in internal medicine and has a clinical interest in preventive care. As a physician, Dr. Kelley believes in fostering a strong doctor-patient relationship to enhance quality of care.
Dr. Kelley received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. During her residency, Dr. Kelley was awarded Resident of the Year and was selected to participate in the Leadership in Medicine track. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society.
Before coming to UCLA Health, Dr. Kelley practiced primary care outpatient medicine in Fresno, California. During this time, she also worked as an inpatient hospitalist and teaching attending. She was nominated annually for the esteemed Champion in Care award. The residents she taught also nominated her as Faculty of the Year.
When she’s not working, Dr. Kelley enjoys hiking, yoga, and spending time with family.

Dr Kelley took time to address multiple concerns of mine. I felt heard. She listens well. Today was my annual physical, meaning I saved all my questions for this once a year assessment. A couple of times there was a knock at the door, which I interpreted as, my time had expired. Yet, Dr Kelley, remained engaged, and completed the annual physical and answered all of my questions. Today I met with Michelle Kelley, MD, for my semiannual physical. Our meeting covered all of my preparatory lab work, and all of my questions about current ailments in detail. I received referrals for audiology questions and also my covid vaccination. Our meeting was very cordial and professional. She made suggestions about how I might regulate my eating habits to alleviate my digestion problems and shared sleep positions that might make me more comfortable. The appointment was very productive and I am looking forward to trying out some of these ideas and following through with the referrals.
