Dr. Michelle Hwang is a nephrologist who practices in Torrance. She enjoys practicing all aspects of general nephrology, with special interest in hypertension, chronic kidney disease, kidney transplant and preventive nephrology. In addition to her outpatient activity, she also sees patients at Torrance Memorial Medical Center, Little Company of Mary in Torrance and Little Company of Mary in San Pedro. She is fluent in Korean and Japanese. Dr. Hwang received her medical degree from Chicago Medical School. She completed her internal medicine residency at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, and then completed her nephrology fellowship at UCLA, where she served as a Chief Fellow. Apart from practicing nephrology, Dr. Hwang enjoys hiking and traveling.
