About
Dr. Michael Oh is a medical oncologist and hematologist who specializes in lung cancer and other thoracic malignancies. His research focuses on translational studies seeking to understand cancer resistance and develop new treatments, with a specific interest in immunotherapies and therapies for small cell lung cancer.
Dr. Oh received his medical degree from the Yale School of Medicine and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Northwestern University, followed by a Hematology/Oncology fellowship at UCLA. He also earned a PhD through the Specialized Training in Advanced Research (STAR) Program at UCLA. He is a recipient of multiple research awards from government agencies and national organizations, including the Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
