While I feel the doctor was able to echo what I said about my experience, I don’t feel that I was met with bedside manner. There were times in which I was speaking, and the doctor chose to speak over me, or interrupt to speak while I was still talking. It felt very rushed, and that I was being pushed in a direction that i was already leaning; however, instead of validating and affirming immediately it became about education. I also don’t appreciate how the doctor ended the call, or addressed any of my concerns.

Dr. Mueller is very nice but hesitant to order lab tests. I would appreciate it if I can get the labs I want ordered and I’m not sure why there is resistance. As someone with multiple health conditions, I want to know what my various markers are even if they fall outside of standard of care and it would be much appreciated if she would partner with me in doing so.

Dr. Mueller took the time today to double check my insurance covered my annual physical based on calendar year vs. rolling 12-months because my last one was in November. I hadn’t thought about this but she noted the cost could be material. I know she must be busy so the fact that she pointed it out to me and then waited for me to confirm with my insurance, was extremely appreciated and highlights strong care for patients.
