Dr. Matthew Carroll is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at UCLA Health and a Hospitalist. His interests include primary prevention and early detection of disease to improve health outcomes across all areas of healthcare. He is passionate about healthcare innovation, medical education, and health equity. He completed two UCLA Biodesign fellowships with the goal of contributing to the next generation of healthcare through innovation. He is currently an MBA candidate at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Dr. Carroll is originally from Massachusetts. He received his undergraduate degree from Boston College in Biochemistry. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine with honors. He completed his internship and residency at UCLA. Dr. Carroll is board certified in Internal Medicine.
