Great from the moment I checked in. Dr Nursisian was fantastic. First time seeing her. She was attentive, thorough, compassionate and on point. The x-ray tech was friendly, clear with his communication and efficienct The nursing staff was also very friendly and communicative.

Dr. Nercessian is the first doctor I actually enjoy seeing and completely trust that she is going to help. There have been multiple occasions in my past of having to get second opinions because the doctor doesn't believe me or doesn't think it's a big deal - this is not the case with Dr. Nercessian, the moment I tell her something is wrong she addresses it. Not only that but her bedside manner is fantastic, she is incredibly kind and professional and creates a really safe environment which I truly value. I'm very very very happy to have found a doctor that I like and trust.

Dr. Nercessian is anything but what I often call a "clipboard doctor," who just comes into the exam room, skims over the lab results and says, "Okay, perhaps try and watch your diet, and see me again in 3 months." She always takes her time to get a real image of the whole healthcare picture going on, and then makes recommendations/gives me direction based not only on her research, but her intuition and years of experience. I always am left feeling like we do this as a team - just the greatest. Terrific physician.

I extremely appreciated how I actually felt HEARD and SEEN by my doctor at UCLA Health. Not that I've have bad experiences with my previous doctors but sometimes my appointments just felt rushed because they take a glance at my age and think I look healthy so it's always something like, "You're young, you're doing fine! We'll let you know how your bloodwork looks." Thank you so much Dr. Nercessian for giving me the time and making me feel welcomed enough to ask questions and actually hearing me out instead of making me feel rushed and shushed.

I wanted a diagnosis for a new issue with having a sore swollen feeling in my throat starting 2 days ago. I called the UCLA Toluca Lake Phone number and explained I wished to see someone today. I received several options for doctors and appointment times and picked one that worked well for me. The doctor , Mariya Nercessian, DO, ruled out my issue being Covid with a test, expected cause may be viral and explained that that is not treated with antibiotics (when I asked ) So I feel good that it does not seem to be something serious and will watch what happens over the next few days. The doctor, front office and nurses were kind and efficient - All and All a good visit.
