Dr. Manuel Mendoza is a primary care physician who practices at UCLA Health MPTF Toluca Lake location in Burbank. He is board certified in family medicine, and his goal is to develop a strong partnership with his patients, including those in the LGBT and Latino communities. He has a passion for fitness and exercise, and always encourages his patients to make healthy lifestyle choices.
Dr. Mendoza received his medical degree from the Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland. He moved to Los Angeles in 2010, and completed his residency training in family medicine at UCLA in Santa Monica. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington in Seattle, where he earned a degree in Spanish Literature.
In his free time, Dr. Mendoza loves to travel, dance and enjoy time with his partner and his friends.

Dr. Mendoza was a pleasure to see today. He was there with me quickly and I didn’t have a long wait. He was professional while being warm and concerned. He answered my questions and gave me a referral to a specialist. He also had x-rays done while I was there. The radiologist was great too. I appreciated Dr. Mendoza’s time thoroughly.

The appointment was about 3 mins. Zero additional questions to better understand the condition I was concerned about. I left feeling there was zero interest in me and passed me off as past as he could to a referral. Also, I arrived with a fractured elbow in a sling and he didn't ask how I was managing the injury. Overall - I left feeling the doctor was not interested in the appointment and not present.
