About
Dr. Maliha Khan (She/her) is a family medicine physician who is committed to supportive and inclusive care for people from all walks of life. Originally from Northern Virginia, she earned her undergraduate degree from George Mason University before attending Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center for medical school. She completed her family medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills.
Following residency, Dr. Khan completed the LGBTQ+ Health fellowship at UCLA, where she received specialized training in gender-affirming care, HIV care and prevention, and sexual health. Her clinical interests include gender care throughout the age spectrum, adolescent health, and mental health. She especially enjoys caring for patients during important transitions in their lives and creating a space where they feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves.
Dr. Khan also enjoys giving back to the LGBTQ+ community through volunteer work and community events. Outside of work, she is an avid reader, devoted cat mom, and enthusiastic traveler who loves new experiences.
