Dr. Smith is very knowledgeable but I was uncomfortable because he treats me like a disease rather than a person. He does not have a level of compassion I like to see in medical care providers. I was an NP for 40 years and hope I showed the kindness they deserve to the patients I served. He does not like messaging and says he gets over 30 in a day and if I have a problem go to medical walk in but not everything requires a doctors visit at a MWI clinic. I can evaluate myself well and sometimes you just need a prescription. He did take time with me but is not interested in me at all just my illness but if he wants me to be compliant he needs to understand more of who I am as a person. He did ask if I drove and I could not figure out why. And yes I do. But I don’t like to drive when ill and that is why I messaged him and did not go to MWI as I live alone. Anyhow I need more compassion.

Dr. Smith was patient and extremely thorough as he updated my records and learned more about my current medical status. I had several prepared questions, and Dr. Smith answered each one. He's not a warm fuzzy, but he is a wonderful dr.
