Dr. Loc Duong is board-certified in internal medicine and practices in Burbank. He earned his medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle and completed his residency focused in primary care at Highland Hospital in Oakland. Dr. Duong provides care for adults of all ages tailored to the specific needs of each patient. His clinical interests include the management of chronic diseases and preventative medicine. He enjoys learning about new advances in medicine, teaching medical students, reading, journaling, watching films, and practicing pottery.

Dr. Duong, is great. As you get older, previous doctors retire or go to meet their maker and so we need to find someone new. In every respect I thrilled with the doctors. I have found it UCLA and Dr. Duong, is a perfect example. He was fully booked, but they managed to set up a video appointment for me and it took care of my outstanding needs perfectly.

Dr. Duong gave me a lot more time than I was used to with at least one of my prior doctors. It really does help to have a Dr. show concern, remember your conditions, and even family member names. It feels like a full service visit about my entire wellbeing, not just a tick mark in an annual-checkup box.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Loc Duong! I was telling my mother the one thing that I’m concerned about is if I ever had to find another primary Dr. He or She would have some shoes to fill and I doubt I will ever come across another amazing Dr like Duong again. I was late to my appointment today due to having left my brain at home this morning and found myself on auto pilot on my way to the UCLA Radiology in Santa Clarita, realizing when I had almost arrived that I had gone to wrong place and Thankfully by the time I made it to Dr. Duongs office he was still able to see me and it was a very productive and pleasant appointment as always. I didn’t even feel like he was rushed! I just Love Dr. Duong being at the Helm of my health care and I know I’m in great hands. He’s the best!

Dr. Duong was able to see me and prescribe medication to help my symptoms however, his bedside manner was subpar. While I understand I presented quite ill and likely very contagious, he made it very apparent he did not want to examine me. His actions of barely using his finger tips to examine my abdomen (location of my pain), seemingly not wanting to touch his stethoscope after using it to examine me, makes me not want to see him again.
