About
Dr. Lauren Eisenbud is a hematologist/oncologist who practices in Westlake Village. She is board-certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology.
Dr. Eisenbud was inspired to become a physician after cancer struck several members of her family. After witnessing the unique relationship oncologists have with their patients and their families, she aspired to a career in which she could heal and form rich connections with patients while playing a role in advancing the field of medicine through research.
A graduate of University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Eisenbud received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies. She continued her training at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, California, and University of California, Irvine Medical Center, where she served as chief fellow and was cited for exemplary human qualities, compassion, and academic excellence.
Before coming to UCLA Health, Dr. Eisenbud practiced as a hematologist/oncologist with City of Hope in Simi Valley.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Eisenbud enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and hiking.
