Lauren H. Beshay, MD
About
Dr. Lauren Beshay is a general endocrinologist who practices in Thousand Oaks. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism. She is a proponent of using evidence-based practice to educate patients about their diagnosis and empower them to make the best shared decision regarding their care.
Dr. Beshay earned her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She completed her internal medicine residency at UCLA Olive View, and endocrinology fellowship training at the University of California, Irvine. She received her bachelor's degree from UCLA, where she completed a major in physiology and minor in Spanish.
Dr Beshay was born in Cairo spent her childhood in Paris, then immigrated to the United States as a teenager. In her free time she loves to travel, and spend time with her family, especially her new daughter. She is involved in her local Coptic Orthodox Church and attributes all her success to God and tremendous support of her family.
Dr. Beshay is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Thyroid Association and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
