Originally from southern California, Dr. Carnazzola moved to Chicago for medical school and residency. She worked in Urgent Care in the northern suburbs of Chicagoland and had a private practice in the community where she raised her three children. Dr. Carnazzola returned here after several decades in the Midwest and is glad to be home, where she enjoys hiking, theater, walking on the beach, camping and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Carnazzola is wonderful. She is so knowledgeable about how to clean and treat wounds and the proper antibiotics to prescribe. She is caring and empathetic to the patient’s pain and has a gentle and yet efficient approach to each situation.

I had a follow-up visit to see how my puncture wound was healing. I purposely arranged my visit so that I could be seen by Dr. Kim Carnazzola again because she was so effective in treating the infection in my wound. She is a caring and excellent doctor.

Dr. Kim Carnazzola’s care was excellent. I needed follow up treatment from Santa Monica ER for an infection to a wound. She was thorough in her examination, cleaned it and prescribed antibiotics. I plan to follow up with Dr. Carnazzola on Tuesdays.

I was at facility accompanying my wife on her visit for immediate care. While there I decided to have a Covid vaccine. The staff was very helpful in arranging for me, The doctor attending my wife provided her excellent care and also intelligently advised why she might hold off taking vaccine on this visit.

Dr. Kim Carnazzola is so knowledgeable and explained that my Covid cough could linger for weeks. Wanted me to increase the albuterol treatments till the cough is gone and buy some regular Mucinex, not the DM one. Very satisfying to have Dr. Kim for one of my UCLA doctor.

Dr Kim explained everything to Me about having Covid! Felt confident in what she told me. I had my son pick up Paxlovid at pharmacy for me. Taking as prescribed. Today after 3 days of meds I’m feeling a little better. Will retest on Saturday when I finished the meds.

Dr. Carnazolla was excellent today. All of my objectives were attained. She listened to everything I said and answered all of my questions in a way I understood her. She gave me all of the time I needed. I had no additional questions after I ended the call. She has always cared for my well-being and exhibited that today.
