About

Dr. Bayan earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed his Pediatrics Residency at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.  He is board-certified in pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

He chose pediatrics because it offers a unique opportunity to share in the lives of his patients and have a meaningful impact on their development into the people that they will become. He takes great joy in watching them take their first steps, hearing about their pets, and inspecting the hole where their first tooth fell out.

To stay healthy, he enjoys training for marathons and hiking with his family.

This doctor was extremely short and rushed with us. He did not allow us to ask all of our questions nor did he answer the questions we did ask. His communication seemed to criticize our parenting instead of giving us medical advice on how to improve the illness of our child or informing us what was actually medically wrong in the first place. He seemed annoyed that our child was crying and upset at the appointment — of course our child was upset given he was sick that is why we were seeing a doctor. He should not be a pediatrician if he can’t speak to parents over a crying child. He simply left the room when he decided he had enough of it and did not come back in despite us telling the nurse we still had more questions for the doctor. We ultimately got no answers on what might have been wrong with our child or how we should treat him.
