Dr. Keiko Tochikura is a primary care physician who practices at UCLA Health MPTF Toluca Lake location in Burbank. She is board certified in family medicine.
Dr. Tochikura received her medical degree from Fukui Medical University in Japan. She completed her U.S. residency at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana, and fellowship at the University of Hawaii.
Prior to joining UCLA Health, she worked at the Tokyo Medical Surgical Clinic, the American Medical Center on Guam, and the Johns Hopkins affiliated Tokyo Midtown Clinic in Tokyo.
When she's not in the Toluca Lake office, Dr. Tochikura enjoys teaching medical students and working in one of UCLA Health's satellite clinics, caring for pediatric patients.

She always seems to be very attentive and listens to what my problems are and when I show her simple things she make sure to make sure that they are just simple things. For example, today I had an accident on my motorcycle and she looked at it and I didn’t even go there for that and then she did some stuff to it clean it up. Gave me some antibiotics And noted that it look like it could get infected and took care of that for me and I was extremely happy with Dr. tochikura

Dr. Tochikura always listens to my problems and she explains me how to deal with the problems. She also discusses the medications including how to take them. She is a kind doctor. I’m really happy with my doctor.

I wrote in my chart my issue early this morning, was contacted within 45 min for a video appointment, during video appointment doctor assessed it was best I come in person, I arrived in about 30 min and was able to be seen promptly. Very good & thorough, labs sent out. awaiting results.

Today was a good day with my Dr. I find listening to each other is becoming more effective. I also like that when I came in the nurse didn't just slap a BP monitor on me and take my BP while trying to get me to answer questions. I felt that it was a more calm intro into the appt. WHICH I feel any doctor's office should be. I understand how busy everyone is but I also feel that a Dr. office should be an inviting place that isn't always about time which then I feels like a negative space.
