About
Dr. Juliet Penn is a board certified medical oncologist/hematologist who practices at UCLA Health Cancer Care in Santa Barbara. She attended medical school at Tel Aviv University in Israel and went on to complete her residency and fellowship training at UCLA Health. Dr. Penn’s research focused on circulating tumor cell detection and testing for early detection/management of breast cancer.
Dr. Penn and her husband returned to his hometown in 2016 in order to raise their children in the surrounding beauty of Santa Barbara. She enjoys trail running, cooking and trying to get her kids to hike up “just one more hill.”

Dr penn is a fantastic doctor. The staff are excellent, too. I am very lucky to have chosen ucla to be my partner in My cancer journey!! A cancer diagnosis has many lessons to teach us. I am learning to Support and care for self in new ways. And to Respect the many joys of healing!!!
