Dr. Juliet Penn is a board certified medical oncologist/hematologist who practices at UCLA Health Cancer Care in Santa Barbara. She attended medical school at Tel Aviv University in Israel and went on to complete her residency and fellowship training at UCLA Health. Dr. Penn’s research focused on circulating tumor cell detection and testing for early detection/management of breast cancer.
Dr. Penn and her husband returned to his hometown in 2016 in order to raise their children in the surrounding beauty of Santa Barbara. She enjoys trail running, cooking and trying to get her kids to hike up “just one more hill.”

I had a lab appointment so I am not scheduled to see doc until next week when lab results are back. But, I did pass her as I was getting ready to check out and she was very friendly and asked how I was doing. It’s such a pleasant surprise that a doctor can recognize a patient they see every 6 months!
