About

Dr. Juliet Penn is a board certified medical oncologist/hematologist who practices at UCLA Health Cancer Care in Santa Barbara. She attended medical school at Tel Aviv University in Israel and went on to complete her residency and fellowship training at UCLA Health.  Dr. Penn’s research focused on circulating tumor cell detection and testing for early detection/management of breast cancer.  

Dr. Penn and her husband returned to his hometown in 2016 in order to raise their children in the surrounding beauty of Santa Barbara. She enjoys trail running, cooking and trying to get her kids to hike up “just one more hill.”

She worked me in to a already packed schedule because of problems I was having as a result of my chemo; she ordered pharmaceuticals to help me and explained them; she discussed possibilities of changing treatment next go round depending on my progress. All good.
