About
Dr. Josephine Hwang is a board-certified pulmonary physician at UCLA Health, practicing in Pasadena and Westwood. Her clinical interests include interstitial lung disease.
She received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, along with a Masters degree in public health through the Jefferson College of Population Health. Dr. Hwang completed both residency training in internal medicine and fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, earning degrees in biochemistry and comparative literature.
Dr. Hwang grew up in Taipei, Taiwan and Vancouver, Canada, prior to moving to the United States. In her free time, she enjoys reading and traveling.
She is a member of the American Thoracic Society.
