Reviews
Dr Eby had an intricate knowledge of my health care issues and concerns. No one could be better!
She was very kind and thoughtful and willing to go at my pace. Very comfortable and look forward to our next appointment.
Smart and kind
Dr Eby is attentive, kind and a wonderful listener. She followed up on all my questions and I am grateful to have her as my provider.
Dr. Eby really took the time to listen to my problems and provide reassurance And solutions. Too often people - especially doctors tend to try to “calm” or “reassure” you by basically saying that “it’s not that bad” or words to that effect which at least for me, makes me feel unheard, or worse like I’m a burden or that the listener can’t be bothered - there was no such issue here. I felt she really understood not just what I was saying, but my discomfort or in a few cases concerns about the issues and didn’t make me feel silly or like I’m being a hypochondriac or just overthinking or overreacting - my concerns have validity, and we’ll do what is appropriate regarding them - which in one case is basically wait and see, but let’s do x, y, and z in the meantime to be sure we have a good outcome and don’t miss any problems that might occur during that time. I have actually gotten that from most of the doctors I’ve dealt with at UCLA, but maybe because I am Very nervous as well as suffering some uncomfortable symptoms in this particular case, I felt really cared for and as I said HEARD. When you have one let alone 3 or more chronic illnesses or issues, you can sometimes get a practitioner who doesn’t even really believe you, to those that just can’t seem to understand how debilitating it can be, or simply loses patience when you get to the third or fourth issue and you’re not even halfway finished. And I Know it’s a Lot and I know that they only have a certain amount of time with you. Simply understanding that is really helpful for me and Dr. Eby gets it (as do most of not only the other doctors I’ve seen here, but even the support staff - including the people who set appointments - it’s really a great system.
