About

Dr. Jelena Maletkovic earned her medical degree at the University of Belgrade. She completed her internship, residency and served as Chief Resident in internal medicine at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She earned a Master Degree in Clinical Pharmacology at University of Belgrade and completed fellowship in endocrinology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. 

She enjoys working with patients and has been recognized as Super Doctor by LA Times for 9 consecutive years. Dr Maletkovic's research publications focus mostly on pituitary diseases and diabetes mellitus. She is official medical interpreter for Spanish as well as Serbian/Croatian. 

In her personal time, she joins her 4 young sons for races, hikes, bikes and mud runs but also for classical piano and double bass home orchestra.
