About
Dr. Wei was born and raised in Los Angeles County. He received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of California Davis Medical Center and endocrinology fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles Medical Center. His clinical interests include the management of obesity. He finds teaching endocrinology to both students and patients alike to be most rewarding. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and exploring the Ventura County area and beyond.

Dr. Wei is amazing. Probably the very best doctor I’ve ever been to in my life. Our visits are a collaborative experience. He always gives me a few choices of possible medication,, and he lets me decide which one I think will work best for me. He has a comfortable,relaxed style, but at the same time is totally 100% on top of everything, with all the information and options. He has guided me in taking off 70 pounds, and is helping me get my cholesterol under control without statins. I honestly wish every doctor was like him.

Dr. Wei is the best! I feel really lucky to have him on my care team. I always feel seen and heard with him because he takes his time to listen to my concerns. I sincerely appreciate his willingness to help. He has wonderful bedside manners. I also love that he is always eager to share about the latest up-to-date gadgets and information in the field. It shows how dedicated he is to stay current.

Dr Wie is a spectacular physician. He always listens, he’s interested in digging for what underlying issue might be contributingto my problems, as in really interested and follows thru. He’s always pleasant, he runs his practice such that there are no long wait times. He responds almost immediately to new lab reports, and recently responded after hours to a pharmacy issue.
