About
Dr. Wei was born and raised in Los Angeles County. He received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of California Davis Medical Center and endocrinology fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles Medical Center. His clinical interests include the management of obesity. He finds teaching endocrinology to both students and patients alike to be most rewarding. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and exploring the Ventura County area and beyond.

Dr Wei was thoughtful, and listened to my concerns. He answered my (sometimes awkwardly worded) questions and gave info I can use in my daily monitoring. We discussed a plan for the next few months, that we agreed would serve my best interest, and we will review in 6 months. I left, feeling confident that I had been given the information I needed to handle self monitoring, and knowledge of when I may need to call or seek additional help.

Dr. Wei is the most caring and thorough doctor I have ever had the privilege of being a patient of. He goes above and beyond to understand the cause of symptoms and refers me to other specialists if needed. Please pass on my compliments to him.
